Iam new to xml and datasets, xslt. Iam learning web
services.

Everyone knows keeping/querying data in database is more
efficient than in a xml document.

Just want to know the practical application of having data
in xml file.

Thanks

XML is great for transporting data.

XML does not have to be kept in a file (although it certaily can). It can
be created on the fly and used to transport data. Since XML is a meta
language, it is great for text bases resource files for various data
(audio/video, etc.).

Thanks!!!
