xls attachment in email

I have windows XP. I have been sent an email with an attachment of a
spreadsheet which I need.I don't have excel so windows cannot open the
attachment. Can anyone tell me how to open it please.

You can download "Excel Viewer" from Microsoft for free. This will allow you
to open, view and print the spreadsheet, although you will not be able to
manipulate the data.
