After upgrading to Windows 2000 Service Pack 4, I get an
error message when using my Xircom network adaptor (model
RBEM56G-100) when trying to establish a modem connection.
(The ethernet port still works fine.) After the modem
finishes negotiating with the distant modem, I get a dialog
box that says "Cannot load dialog Error 0xC000007A:", and
a single OK button. Selecting OK terminates the connection.
I upgraded to the latest Xircom driver (3.14.13) to no
avail. However, that driver is old (2001, I believe), so
my guess is that Xircom needs to update it to work with
SP4. Any other ideas?
