Hi,

Does anyone know what Microsoft's stance is on XForms with regard the .NET
Framework? Is it likely to be a standard that is included within the .NET
Framework, replacing standard HTML forms?

Hi Glenn,

I don't think this feature is imminent since XForms isn't yet final.

Hi Miha,

I had just notice that the XForms recommendation has advanced to Proposed
Recommendation within the W3 Consortium (1 August 2003). I know that
Microsoft had been developing their own standard (XDocs) so I was curious to
know whether Microsoft have plans to adopt XForms within the .NET Framework
in due course or whether they are keen to push their own standard. I agree
that this is not imminent, but I am sure mass adoption of the standard (or
similar) could occur within the next three to five years. I guess the
question is, what iteration of the .NET Framework will make use of the new
standard?

Hi Glenn,

Let's keep fingers crossed :)

I thought that "XDocs" became "InfoPath". If so, when was it ever meant to
become a standard?
