i have a xerox folder that has another folder in it called nwwia. it appears to be part of a windows update. i do not have a xerox machine. i use auto update so i did not pick this one for installation accidentally. i can't delete the darn thing either. the folder says 0 bytes but nwwia is being used by another program. i went into registry and everything and can't find anything on this folder. any help appreciated and thanks in advance.

Don't worry about it. It is installed every time XP is installed. It is just there - forget about it.

thanks for the input, it was driving me crazy. what is googling it? i know what google is but i'm afraid i don't understand. thanks again.

Google (verb)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

The verb to google is a neologism meaning "to perform a web search"
(primarily with Google). This is a coined word, mainly due to the tremendous
popularity of that search engine. Google itself does not like this usage, as
it fears the dilution and potential loss of its trademark like Yo-Yo and
escalator (see genericized trademark).

I have seen it used transitively and intransitively, so choose your pick.
