I have a Xerox C55 that has now generated an U2-NVRAM error.
The knowledge base did not have a solution other than 'see authorized
Xerox repair shop'
The user manual does not have adequate information to repair it.
I am assuming I have a bad NVRAM chip on the main board. Does anyone:
a) know how to fix this?
b) have a service manual with a description of the problem?
c) have a schematic and parts list for the board?
d) have a PDF from Xerox's service CD or other source. I can buy the
service manual directly from Xerox, but it's not worth what they're
charging.
I know printers are cheap, but I hate to throw it away when it could
possibly be fixed easily. I have experience with electronics, but need
some info that I can't seem to find.
Thanks.
