xcopy help

can someone help with an xcopy command.
I keep getting an "invalid number of switches" error when this .bat file
executes.

xcopy C:\Documents and Settings\sam\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook2.pst D:\Backups New\Outlook_data /y

note the quotes
