How do I connect a Xbox360 to a computer which is wirelessly linked to a
secure network modem router - if so what cable do I need - running xp + sp2,
if this is possible how do I set the computer ? I am 66 years old and not a
computer whizz-kid.

Click the "All Groups by Name" link near the lower right corner of the page.

Scroll the list on the left side of the page down NEAR the bottom and
