My son got a 360. His room is in basement, my modem and router are WAY upstairs, but I have a Cat5 running to his room. The X manual says he needs (??) a router for online play, but I've been told I can hook up a hub in his room, and it'll work. PLEASE answer!! THANKS!

Yes it will.

802.11 A/B/G Wi-Fi ready, adapter not included
You'll need the adaptor it you want to go that route.

However, it also has an Ethernet Port (RJ45) ... this is what you connect to the 'hub' or your router.

Thanks. But...can I install another hub on his Cat5 ethernet connection (coming from "my" hub upstairs)? OOPS!! I missed the "yes it will". -- So .. for wireless he needs the optional addaptor, yes? THANKS M!

I would recomend a Powered hub... especially if your going Hub to Hub to 360. You don't want signal loss.
