xara menumaker

I am trying to insert a navbar i made using xara menumaker into my site. I
use DWT's on my site. I can insert my Xara navbar into the DWT and it works
ok. But when I add the DWT to my other pages, the xara navbar in these pages
does not show up when previewed, but it does show up in design mode.

Help! this is driving me crazy!!!

it may be that the xara menu is depositing some code in the <head> section
when you do it successfully, but when you're attaching the dwt to other
pages it's not coming through.
view a failing page in I.E. and view the source. look for the script.

done that and the code is as it should be on the DWt and the other pages.
what is even more bizarre is that if i create a new page and attach the DWt,
it works ok for a while on this new page then stops working?

any other ideas?
 
......also, if I insert the same navbar into the editable region on any of my
pages it works ok, but will not in the non editable areas controlled by the
DWT.

I'm not sure if this will help but I use Xara on my website and it is
located in a folder named "borders" - top.htm
