X800XT GPU temp showing as zero

Under 5.12 cats (CP) in the overdrive section
I'm not sure if it did this on previous cats as its not a tab I click too
often.

Has anyone else encountered this?
Is it a 5.12 issue?

Trying out the CCC 5.12's here. Have a X800XT PE and current temp under
overdrive is 55degrees C

(Overdrive is enabled BTW)

I would advise against installing CCC and poisoning your system, just to get
a temperature reading.

The intention of my post was 'it works fine here'.

However as it has raised it's head yet again to the OP I'd advise trying
things out for yourself. You may be pleasantly suprised... as I am so far.
There is a very long thread on the CCC vs CP version of the drivers. Read
it and make up your own mind.

You don't need CCC to get the temps. Just install Everest and it will
tell you the vid card temps. My X800XL is 44c at idle.
