you don't say if you are agp or pci-e.
If you have the ghedas/bucks/moola to spend - go get a mainboard or
something that will support pci-e and build a system around the x850. My
x850 out classes in everyway my x800 -
I first purchased the x800 before there was an x850. It wasn't a case of
saving ghedas, i needed a replacement for my 9800pro, like yesterday in a
hurry. Like I tell my budget office there wasn't another video card within
400 miles available that day. So maybe if you can wait - check out the next
release due out from ATI. I am thinking that might replace my x800.

PC2-4200 memory
the quality of graphics on the x800 agp system is mediocre compared to the
high wazoo excellent graphics on the x850 pci-e system. Same monitors.
