x64 Supported?

There is no mention of Windows XP Professional x64
Edition in the supported OSes. However, I thought I
would give it a shot anyway and downloaded the
AntiSpyware beta. It appears to install and performed a
scan with no errors. Is Anti-Spyware supported on x64
and it's just an over sight in not stating support on the
website?

I know of two or three other users who also have it installed, and running
on x64. I installed x64 on Thursday, but my wireless nic (Microsoft MN510)
isn't supported, so I haven't done much except collect a couple of other
drivers I needed. Looks like I'm gonna need to find a new card--anybody got
a good recco for a wireless card for a desktop? Here's my criteria as I
think about them so far:

1) USB, or with a wire to the antenna, so that I can arrange antenna
placement better than on the back of the desktop system.
2) WPA2 capable
3) x64 drivers available

I'm certain that the final will be x64 compliant. I suspect that the lack
of advertising for this in the current beta is probably that the product
wouldn't pass a variety of compliance tests--indeed, it wouldn't pass those
tests on 32-bit XP either--but it seems to work fine.

Thanks - will check it out.

Yes, Microsoft Antispyware supports Windows x64 its one of their
recommended downloads. Bill, wireless is a headache on x64, I recommend
you check the microsoft.public.windows.64bit.general groups for some good
suggestions.
