It will run live TV for about 15 min. Then lockup , freeze. Locks the
system, I have to reboot to get rid of it. Anyone else run into this ?
It just started for me.

What driver version and MMC version are you running? I've got the
same card, loads of problems with TV. I've traced most of them back
to the sucky MMC software.

I have had the AIW X600Pro for 13 months now in an Asus P5AD2-E motherboard.
In that time it has only frozen up about 1000 times.

The only time it will freeze is if I am in the TV mode or running some type
of 3D graphics program. I can not find any rime or reason for when it
freezes. I have tried numerous updates and various computer settings. I
need my head examined for still having it in my computer. It is nothing but
a big PITA.

Trying to work with ATI customer support was a total waste of time.

Customer support gave me a RMA to send my board back for a new one.
But besides locking up in the TV mode it took forever to even get the
MMC to load. I kept sending in tickets and attached logs of all the
falts that W2K found. Have had it just from Dec. so still in
warrently.

I've had similar problems to you all with ATI MMC and the x800 xl.

Nothing works. Tried 100 different combinations of updated drivers and
mmc software from ATI web page. What horeshit, it just doesn't do as
advertised.

I have an AMD 64, NFORCE 4 drivers with an ASUS A8N Deluxe Motherboard.

I'd be interested if anyone has had the ATI MMC tv or tv recording work
without glitches. If so, could you give us information about your
drivers and hardware.

Also, if anyone knows the trick for recovering your system without
reboot after a freeze, I'd be interested.
