I just got this bundle from ati this mobo and a x1900xtx and x1900
crossfire and a fx-60 i put 2 gigs ram and a 550 sli antec power supply i
just put fear in and turned everything to high as high as it would go at
1900x1600 and it didnt studer once and ive never seen such detail in a game
ever! i must say im freaking impressed! they are haveing trouble with the
newest drivers so i put the cd drivers in and no problems. i called them and
they said the next set of drivers with be correcting some issues.

So two X1900 cards can actually run on a 550W brand-name PSU? This is good
to know as I will be "augmenting" my system very soon. A single X1900XT
doesn't seem fast enough for Oblivion at HDR + 4xAA...

yep runs fine the antec box even said sli ready and it had 2 plugs for it
they go into 1 and 2 slot of psu very nive also farecry is amazing! all
options in graphics setting turned to max and not one hickup smooth as
glass!also the mobo was asus a8r32-mvp deluxe

Don't you find Bloom to be better than HDR?

You are kidding, right? HDR looks a hellava better than Bloom.

Have you seen a sunset over the water in this game?

Nope...I saw some stills on a website (I think gamespot) that compared bloom
to HDR and bloom looked better. I guess stills don't do the "realtime"
rendering justice I could certianly understand that.

I didn't buy the game because I prefer the group experience like DDO which I
did buy. I may get the game in the future when I also get a new system based
on the Intel Conroe. By that time I figure they'd have worked out many
issues with patches. It's like the Chronicles of Riddick -- I didn't buy it
for the Xbox, wated for it to arrive on the PC and then bought it for $17
once it became a bargain, and I played it on the X800 and the lighting made
a world of difference with the graphics rather than the 9800 XT, same with
Halo. Single player games I hold out on and enjoy them tremendously when
they've done all the patching and the latest technology can run them wihout
a hitch.

Chronicles of Riddick still remains one of my most memorable games I ever
played, and because I liked Pitch Black as well as the second film too. In
short, I'm going to wait at least a year before I even consider getting TES4
:)

Also get the patch before playing it's different depending on if you get the
European version (which I got from www.gogamer.com) or the USA verison. The
patch has support for Shader Model 2.0++ as well as 3.0.
