It's been several day that i've purchase my new video card a sapphire
x1800gto. What i did found yesterday is with the in the program
Everest corporate, the gpu section doesn't report anything as it was
doing with my x800 from msi.
Also, it is known that my VC has a r520 gpu core, but again, in the
same program it say that i got a r520 pro gpu.
So base on that i've goggle that info and find out that this kind of
gpu doesn't have any pipes locked. The problem is that my video card
is r520 only, or suppose to be. One thing that make my think that it
an error is that my gpu and memory clock are 500/495 12pipes as the
pro version is 530/600 16pipes i think.
So i would like to install manually the pro version of the drivers to
see if it will give me some boost without sofmodding anything yet.
I want to try that because once with my x800 i've install omega
drivers and find out that my video card was overcloked at default
setting of an other video card near from what i had.
So finally i'm thinking that MHz and #of pipes are regulated from
drivers that we install... but i'm not sure.
