X / Y axis floating bar chart

Excel's standard floating bar chart template allows only
for horizontal bars, independent from the source data
structure. Is there a way to 'rotate' the chart to show
vertical bars?

I'm using excel 2000 and the floating bars is a custom type. To get it to
floating columns I simply right clicked the chart, hit "chart type" and
changed it to
Column -> Stacked Column
