In frontpage it all looks good but when I transfer it using ipswitch it comes
up on the website with an 'x'. What am I doing wrong? Please help!!!

First, why aren't you publishing the site rather using FTP? If you use FTP
you'll corrupt the FrontPage Extensions if your site has them. Next, did you
FTP up the images as well as the page? And finally, did you import the
images into your web before linking to them? Switch to Code View and see if
any of the image links start with file:/// if so then it means that they're
pointing to files on your hard drive and not on the web site.

Finally, is there a URL where we can see what's happening?

Hey David,
thanks for responding. I am brand new to this so forgive my ignorance. I
am taking over www.lemoorell.com. The person who Im taking over for has
offered very little help. Any advice will be helpful.

It certainly looks as if the image files were not uploaded

See this message (for the first image):
The requested URL /images/logos/MMj03364840000[1]1.gif was not found on this

Ahh,

Good question.

I think you said you used FTP ?

You should *not* use FTP if your site supports FrontPage Server Extensions.
However, if it doesn't, then FTP your images to /images/logos/
(There may be other images on other folders; you should be able to see this.
If so, transfer these to the appropriate folders.)

Otherwise,
Step 1.
Using FrontPage, import the images into your web (if they have not been).

Step 2.
Use FrontPage publish.
There are options to set the transfer type to HTTP or FTP. This must be
correct.

Then just select publish from one site to the other.
One will be Local, the other Remote, but check. It isn't necessarily true
that Local is your hard disk site and Remote the server site; it could be
the other way around, depending on which site you opened in FrontPage.

When you do it this way, you don't have to worry about what folders the
image are in. FP will take care of it if you publish all. This method works
equally well for FTP sites and for HTTP sites, so it is the safest way to
go.

The OP hasn't confirmed one way or the other if they use the FP server ext
or not.
This question (about the server extension) would be best directed to the
host's support for clarification. If the original designer can't help (even
to the point to say "Yes, I used Frontpage to publish" or "No, I just used
FTP".) then it is best left with the host to answer the question.
