Hi all,
is there anyone who can kindly tell me how the object/category specified in the subject play the
role in the big picture of Active Directory?
I need to access the attribute userPrincipalName and someone told me to refer to the object (?-I
hope to call it with the right name) USER instead of PERSON.
Browsing the AD through an LDAP browser the "user" has both the objectclass User and Person so I can
not see any difference between them and I can not understand why to use the first instead of the
second. Maybe I'm missing something.
I would be interested in some drawings that explains at which level those "object" are placed and
which is the "role" of each one.
Many thanks in advance.
