Tweakers Australia have just posted a review on the X-Micro APEX Flash Stick 128MB:

We can see here that these devices offer the user an easy and convenient way to transport data, and come in many sizes to suit different tastes. Certainly there is a price to pay for that convenience, as CD-R media is quite inexpensive today and a CD-R burner is a very common piece of hardware found in most (even OEM) computers - including laptops.

Mmmm...interesting. These things are coming down in price all the time ...I just bought a 256Mb USB1.1 flash drive like this for under £35 frome-Buyer...and it's recognised as a bootable device by my mobo...so bye bye floppy!8)
