I have a Citrix ICA environment with WYSE thin clients. The problem I am
having is that several Thin Clients will not log on. I can ping the server
from the "refresh" screen of those Thin-Clients that won't connect.
What happens is this. You click connect, it acts like it is going to
connect, flashes the connection screen and then drops back down Connection
Manager window where you start back over.
I have tried all of the following:
1. changed IP's on the thin client. - Unsuccessful
2. Changed DNS Entries - Unsuccessful
3. Reset Switch - Unsuccessful
4. Attempted connection to Terminal Server at another location - Unsuccessful
5. Changed WYSE boxes (testing connectivity) - SUCCESSFUL
6. Terminal Server was rebooted (loaded patches last night) - Unsuccessful
So, it would seem that I have a good network connection, I can see out
(worldwide)and I know the Terminal Server is working since I have more than
hundred users active presently. The licenses are good and more are available.
I am just about positive that the issue is with the thin-client, but I have
exhausted all I know.. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!
