www service not starting.

I have win 2k pro on my pc. The www service will not start
it stays in a state of starting indefinitly. The IIS
service is running. Any info on how to trouble shot would
be greatly appreciated.

Do you have a firewall running? I have seen this on one
of my servers and it was a firewall rule.
