I was workign in frontpage when a dialog box appear on the screen. It
said that the system must be shut down immediately. It said that this
server was called by some NT service ( i dont exactly recall its
name). It also said that this shut down is being done because Remote
Procedure Call (RPC) unexcpectedly closed.

WHT IS THIS ??!? !!

Faraz,

Probably Blaster or similar parasite.

http://www.sophos.com/support/disinfection/blastera.html

1) Disconnect from the network.
2) Install a software firewall and / or NAT router for protection.
3) Remove the infection per the articles.
4) Connect to the internet.
5) Update your system to prevent future infections.

Please don't do #4 until after you have done #2 AND #3. If you remain
connected to the internet without removing the infection, your
computer is busy infecting other computers. And if you connect to the
internet without protecting yourself, you will be reinfected.

Do #5 immediately after #4.
