I have written two scripts to faciliate the backup of the
IIS metabase file and certain parts of the registry. The
first script runs on a central server connects to several
servers one at a time, has it run the second script on
the remote server, pulls the data to the central machine,
disconnects and then goes on to the next server.
Anyways, everything was working fine until last Friday
when during maintenance time, NAV was updated. Now NAV
completely blocks the script running on the remote
machine. This script was originally authorized to run.
NAV doesn't even ask now to authorize the script, when
running the script manually. Also, the script blocking
options are now greyed out and Symantec's site states
that in this condition WHS isn't installed. If it wasn't
then it shouldn't have run last week.
Has anyone run into this problem before.
Thanks.
