I have a Linksys wireless router to communicate with 2
desktops and a laptop. Last week, while installing a
Linksys USB access point to one of the desktops, the
system crashed. Long and the short of it, I ultimately had
to use WinFixIp to get Internet access again on the
laptop. After cleaning the laptop up from a couple of
virusis, I can only cable connect to the Linksys router.
When I try to install the PCMCIA access point into the
laptop, I get a "10093: WSAStartup failed to successfully
load." error.
All searches on the web only tell me how to use the
command, but nothing about how to fix the error in
software that is being installed. And, when I get the
error, I have to run WinFixIP again in order for the
laptop to communicate on the Internet again.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!
