I work for a company with about 25 computers running
windows xp pro and a unix server. All computers are
connected through Cat5 cabling to a 3com superstack switch
also there is a belkin 4-port broadband internet router
plugged in to the network so that all computers share this
connection. Periodically all computers lose access to both
the internet and to the application running on the server.
When this happens all computers get an error that says
(would block sockets in non-blocking mode). The suggested
method of "fixing" this is to try again later but that is
not good enough for a business. Nothing works until I
reset the broadband router and then everything comes back
up. I am not just looking for a solution but a way to
isolate the problem. The only info I can find is for
developers. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
