Wrting Help files for our projects

Hi everybody,
I want to write a help file ( User manual ) for my power point project. If
it's easy I would like to write something like Office help files , I think I
need a thrid party software for this and If it's not so easy them I will go
with the Idea of having a PDF or word file containing all the info for the
users. Has anyone here created a help files before and can give me some hints
where to start ? or any other suggestions?
 
Thanks both. I think for now I just open a PDF file (40 pages) of manual when
userclciks on a buton.
Two questions:
What's the VBA code to open a file ( in this case PDF) beside other offcie
formats?
I kknow how to open a word or excel file in PP but not other formats.
second question about those softwares you guys recomended . If I use them
can I just simply type the user manual using them or there are some other
things involved like knowwing HTML or XML , or... and since you guys already
have used them how you connect your help file to your VBA projects?
 
One more question Steve , The software you recomended seems very Impressive ,
I looked at their website and as you said it’s a bit pricy but which version
should I buy if I decide to use it , I write Excel VBA and for the first time
I done this PP VBA project also I’m a VB programmer . Any recommendations?
