I'm just going to get to the point, speculate all you
want. I installed the wrong copy of XP installed on my
computer (the one I don't have a product key for). Now
I'm stuck on the setup screen which is requesting the
product key. How can I access MS DOS or find a way to
clean boot since I can't go through windows.

Boot with the other XP CD - the one your do have the product key for.
Ensure your BIOS is set to look for bootable devices in the following order:

FDD, CD, HDD (ie floppy, CD, hard drive)

With the correct XP CD in the CD drive, start the PC and when you see the
words on the screen

Press Any Key to Boot from CD....
Ppress a key. Any key. The spacebar will do just fine.

Let it go through everything including the F8 to accept the EULA... then
delete the current partition, create a new one and install XP.
