Wrong Symbol in Icon Column

Some of my contacts have the wrong symbol in the Icon
column, e.g. some show a note with a pushpin and some show
the symbol for a Journal entry even though nothing has
been recorded in Jpurnal for that contact. Anybody else
have this behavior? Thanks.
