Wrong Size Of Windows In Ie 6

I have searched for an answer to my problem and see a large number of
people have the same issue .When I open a second window in IE6 it
opens small .I have tried the usual suggestion of dragging it to full
size then closing the first window then the second but the problem
remains when next I use IE. .Last night I downloaded a small
programme, IE Window Maximizer, and while that helps to resize the
second windows it also maximises the original window which might just
happen to be intentionally small.
This seems to be a very common problem...I didnt have this on my
previous PC ( This is a new build I am using) ...I am surprised that
no-one has found a permanent solution...

Run the REG file at http://windowsxp.mvps.org/IEFAQ.htm#IEMax Then retry the
open, stretch, close process. It may help if your first IE window is always
"normal"- even if it fills the screen- not maximized when you close it.
