Hi

This "screen shot":
http://www.fineraw.com/stuff/free/riff.gif

Show what the CDex thing did with my "enya.MP3" file.

Anyhow, something seems to be wrong.
When I embeded it, PowerPoint said this:

AppName: powerpnt.exe AppVer: 10.0.6819.0 ModName: l3codeca.acm
ModVer: 1.9.0.305 Offset: 0000136a

Should I delete the "l3codeca.acm" file, or is CDex just a fake
program :(
?

Now it works :)

I don't know what happend, but it works now.

I now did all the edit of my MP3 file in "Windows Movie Maker", then
saved it as a film 128kbps (WMA file).
Converted it from WMA to MP3 (32kbps).
Add the RIFF header with CDex.
Embedded it, and saved the PPT file.

:)

Thanks for letting us know :-)

OOPS, where is the Edit Button in Google News, It should be like this
instead:

I now did all the edit of my MP3 file in "Windows Movie Maker", then
saved it as a film 160kbps (WMA file).
Converted it from WMA to MP3 (32kbps).
Add the RIFF header with CDex.
Embedded it, and saved the PPT file.

Benny,
Btw. I will soon later try with 64kbps instead.

PS. In order to work, I also did some other few things but I don't
think
it was the extra things that solved that embed problem. Anyhow, the
extra things would be obvious in the modified and soon comming PPS
file (free download and free to publish for any person).

See you later (maybe)...
