I have an application intended for an XPe system. I have tested the software
on the same hardware using XP Pro. All the fonts display normal (as
expected). The application was originally written for Win98. It uses a
monospace font for a part of the display. Under XPe, these characters are
larger and two numbers are off the screen. I have attempted to have the same
fonts in the XP Pro design installed on the XPe. I have done this. This does
not make any difference. There is one font which I believe is causing my
problem, Marlett. This font is not in the XP Pro design and unfortunetly it
is a dependent component for other devices in the target so I can't
eliminate it.
The application actually calls Get StockFont, specifiying the
SYSTEM_FIXED_FONT. This apparently is a font found in Windows versions
earlier than 3.0. Is this font a component I can add, and if so which one?
