After installing AntiSpyware beta, I installed a very nice file editor
(http://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net/uk/site.htm). The editor installed an
entry on the context menu so I can right click on a file, and edit the file
with the notepad++ editor.
Problem:
When I right click on a .bat file or .cmd file, and then click on the
notepad++ context item, I get a popup from AnitSpyware that the script is
about to run. I clicked OK, and sure enough, the bat file was run instead
of being edited. Strangely, the second time I right click on that
particular file and select notepad++ context item, the file is actually
opened in the editor.
This bug probably applies to other types of scripts (vbs, ...) but I have
not tried.
I'll watch the next beta to see if this is improved.
