writing problem

I bought my laptop 4 days ago and got the Vista program also.

Since day one I can not write a full email, cause the letters are jumping
around-and if I am writing on line 4-suddenly I am on line 2......

I have to make changes all the time - too much

is it the laptop, asus or is it the programme vista?

Please help.

The cause for the jumping around may be the touch pad being brushed
while you're typing. Try turning off the touch pad. Have a great day.
