Writing Music to CD's

While attempting to write music files to a blank cd (using
the cd rw drive), I get an error message stating that
I "cannot play back file, format is not supported" All I
want to do is play back the music I recorded on the blank
cd. Can anyone help???

So youre saying that you did write to the cd,all funct-
ions have to be carried out thru wmp.In the player open
tools,options,file-types tab,chk all the boxes,edit
the others.How do you get an error can't playback if you
havent written yet?XP now uses software called HighMat
for cd writing.
