Is it possible to use VB.NET to write an application for a Palm PDA?
And if
so, can anyone give me some direction as to where the best place to
do
research on how to accomplish this?

I know this has been asked before (2 years ago), but the answers
pointed to appforge, which has been acquired by Oracle, since
apparently .Net natively only supports Pocket PC's. Trying to go to
appforge brings you to the Oracle web site and it's like hitting a
brick wall. Just one page saying:

"Please note that Oracle's acquisition of AppForge's intellectual
property did not include the purchase of the company as a whole, or
the purchase of other AppForge assets including its customer
contracts. Accordingly, Oracle does not plan to sell or provide
support for former AppForge products going forward."

and the trail goes cold there.
Any new leads?

AFAIK, there isn't a .NET runtime for PalmOS.

In anycase, PalmOS is pretty much dead these days, I would focus your
efforts on Java for Mobile Phones or PocketPCs
