Can anyone help.

I'm trying to write 1/2 as a Fraction.

The number 1 should be above the number 2, not on the
same line. Is this possible in Microsoft Word?

If it is, could someone please tell me how.

Thank You

You can use the built-in font character for ½, in the form that is called a
"shilling fraction," but if you really want the the 1 above the 2, with a
straight line between, you'll need an EQ field. For more on both kinds of
fractions, see http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/Formatting/CreateFraction.htm
