Write Protection

I have this problem with "write protection" I saved some
stuff on a USB storage device and now I cant change or
delete the items because the computer tells me they
are "write protected"! How do I remove this write
protection. or stop my computer from write protecting
files when I save?
 
Most USB Storage devices have a write protection switch just like a floppy, Check to see if you accidently switch it
most of the time it has a picture of a padlock nect to it
