Tim

My system crashed and I had to reinstall Windows XP. Now I
have the old account files in my documents and settings
folder which are taking up massive disk space, several
gigs. When I try to do anything to them, the error message
says they are "write-protected: access denied." What can
I do?!?

Hi Tim,

Take Ownership of that folder. Login as Administrator from Safe mode (XP
Home)
