Write protection on CD-RW discs

Hi
Im having trouble transferring my phots to RW disc, it keeps telling me that
its write protected. Ive tried other discs and the same thing comes up for
all of them. I used to be able to copy photos to disc, could someone help by
telling me how to switch this off.

Have you rebooted into SAFE mode and deleted all the temp files and
rebooted.
Then updated WIndows Updates and rebooted?
Or, updated the CD-RW's firmware at the Vendor's website then rebooted?

Which burn software are you using? It is, for example, rather easy to get
this problem from Easy CD Creator by an incorrect selection of the closing
method.
