I am unable to delete songs from my mp3 as it says they are write protected
and I need to remove the write protection or use another disc, has anyone
else had this problem? What should I do?

Thanks

Remove the write-protection (reset the Read-Only attribute of every file
involved), then delete the files as desired.

If you can't do that using the Windows Explorer, you should be able to do it
using the software that came with the device, like iTunes. (That's
reasoning, not experience!)

I have the same problem in that I have a file on my mp3 player that is
showing write protected, thus I cannot delete it off. I have gone into
properties to re-set to read only but this is not working. What should I be
doing?

Help!
Thanks.

when your trying to put songs onto ur device make sure that the device is
switched on and hold button is off, this allowed me to write onto my device.

FANTASTIC !!!

Thanks Jennie, something as straight forward as having the lock button set
when your trying to put songs onto ur device make sure that the device is
switched on and hold button is off, this allowed me to write onto my device.
