Wreless connection

I have a Toshiba laptop with XP Professional and a PC wih XP Home. I want to
set up a wireless Home PC/Laptop LAN connecting to my Motorola Cable Modem
SB4200.

I bought a Wireless HomePlug Combo Starter Pack, containing NetComm's NO290W
and NP285. The salesperson also advised me to purchase a Netgear54Mbps
Wireless Router.

Please help me to set the wreless connections.
