I have been experiencing an issue involving the "working
in the background" icon for my pointer and the
wpconfigs.exe process. I began to notice that my cursor
was staying on the pointer/hourglass graphic
indefinitely. If I disabled my ethernet device, taking me
off the internet, the pointer would go back to the
default graphic. I then began to browse my running
processes and went through them one by one to determine
what was causing this. Once I shutdown
the "wpconfigs.exe" it went away. I am curious if anyone
knows what this process is and if it is something that is
needed and if not, how to disable it indefinitely. Any
help is greatly appreciated.
