you have a few ways of securing wireless
fairly straight forward
(WEP Wireless Equivelent Protection) a normal password to get the router to
allow you online UNENCRIPTED use WPA PSK TKIP as below
(WPA Wireless Protected Access PSK with a passkey TKIP Temporal Key
Integrity Protocol) same as above but encripted much safer
you go on the wireless router your wireless is enabled because your using it
, on there you can set up your password (under PSK string can be up to 63
numbers minimum of ten)
then its start ,connect to , show all connections , double left click
wireless connection , properties click middle tab (wireless networks)
highlight your network name , properties , association tab , change your
drop down boxes to WPA PSK on top one TKIP on bottom one and put the numbers
you put in your PSK string on your router.
your done
if for anytime you cannot get online , you can always change settings on
the pc connected to the router with the ethernet cable
