I have Windows XP SP2. Spybot had an update and said to uninstall the first
version before installing the new version. It then hung and caused a serious
error in Windows. Now when I shut down an error comes up saying, WOWEXEC,
WOWEXEC.EXE, error ox10073280. Something about a violation? It also says to
save my information in another location? I know this is in my system32 but I
have no Idea what to do about it. Thanks for all your help, Mars

WOWEXEC is short for "Windows on Windows Execute" and is a helper program used to run
16-bit applications under NT and XP.

May help you identify what program is running

I have run several scans, no virus, spyware. I took it in to a shop. No virus.
I went to that link you gave. I can't find what is the problem. But now when
I shut down it says, appliction failed to initialize because windows is
shutting down. awwin.exe.Dll Last night my printer turned on and began to
print a 200 page doc. Bible stuff in a foreign language. From the beginning I
thought BUG, this is twice I had it checked by the pros as well as my scans,
Kaspersky, Ad-Aware,SuperAntiSpyware,Fix-It Utilities, etc and help from you
guys. Not a bug??? They say and can't seem to figure it out. Thanks for your
help. It is appreciated. Mars
