I just love this

http://www.ftponline.com/channels/net/reports/vslivesf/2007/lthekeynote2/

Microsoft still thinks that SQL Server should be 'brought into Visual
Studio'
hasn't this been a feature that they've already sold to us-- in ever
version of VS for the past decade?

I just find it humorous, Microsoft Access Data Projects are the best
development, data entry and reporting platform for SQL Server.

I just think that MS needs to embrace the OFFICE paradigm; because
according to my statistics; _EVERYONE_ uses Office-- but Visual Studio
has what.. 20% market share?

Access has 80% market share?

Come on Microsoft; bring some consistency to the message that you're
trying to sell us
when you sell us on something every other year for a decade; you're
really starting to wear thin this argument

yeah I love the article

haven't we been able to build sprocs, views, tables in VS ever since
Visual Interdev?

why would they continue to sell us on a 'new feature' like that?

isn't Visual Studio _DOG_SLOW_?

Why would we want a slow ass IDE for SQL Server?

what a great idea!

now they can make editing SQL buggy and slow!

hell I'd rather have someone sitting there and talking to themselves

than a stupid company trying to CON us on the wrong direction-- and
it's a direction that ALREADY WORKED 10 YEARS AGO

We could 'update SQL Server' in Visual Interdev

And I'd rather stick a fork in a light socket than use Visual Studio
for anything.
Visual Studio is dog slow and crashes.

TAKE THIS IDE AND SHOVE IT!

Stop talking to and agreeing with yourself.
