I like the Sound of my Brand New DELL XPS 600 System, a Whole Lot Better
(Hopefully it Will Ship on Friday, May 12th, 2006, and Not be Delayed).

Intel Pentium D 930 Series Processor (3 Ghz)
1 GB DDR2-SDRAM
NVIDIA NForce 4 SLI MCP
256 MB NVIDIA GeForce 6800 with SLI Ready
160 GB SATA II Hard Disk Drive.
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Sound Card
NVIDIA Integrated Ethernet Controller
16X CD/DVD Burner

Windows Vista Beta 1 did not work very well with my Old ATI Radeon X300,
just FYI (on my older DELL Dimension 8400, it Destroyed the Graphics Card,
hopefully Beta 2 will not have that problem, as well).

I would Personally Recommend a Video Card with at least 256 MB's of VRAM
(like my NVIDA GeForce 6800, for Example).

Video Card drivers:
Radeon® 9500, 9550, 9600, 9650, 9700, 9800, X300, X600, X700, X800, X850
Radeon® X1300, X1600, X1800, X1900 series
MobilityT Radeon® 9550, 9600, 9700, 9800, X300, X600, X700, X800
MobilityT Radeon® X1300, X1400, X1600, X1800
Radeon® Xpress 200, 200M
FireGLT V7350, V7300, V7100, V5100, V5000, V3200, V3100
MobilityT FireGL® V5200, V5000, V3200, V3100

P.S. Some Very Bad Things Happen in Windows Vista Beta 1 when you only have
128 MB's of VRAM, hopefully Beta 2 will not have those problems as well, but
I will never ever run Windows Vista Beta with only 128 MB's of VRAM ever
again.

I think that is why they call it beta. Beta 2 has a lot of bug fixes in it
compared to 5308 that you used. I am confident that this video card will do
the job. At least until I purchase a new PC in January.

Andre, bad thing happen when you try to run Windows Vista Beta 1 with an ATI
Radeon X300, just FYI (Windows Vista Beta 2 will probably be the same old
thing).

How can you say that unless you have tested the latest builds? There has
been a lot of improvements since 5308. You should really think positive
instead of negative

My Old ATI Radeon X300 Died Last Year just a little while after I installed
Windows Vista Beta 1 on my DELL Dimension 8400. Since that day, I have been
the Proud Owner of my NVIDIA GeForce 6800 (which is installed on my DELL
8400).

Vista will not break that AT Card. Kevin is a m***n. He does not know what he is talking about. Nothing wrong with that ATI card. As a matter of fact it is on one of my test machines and it works exceptionally well. You are all set with what you have described.

P.S. P.S.S. P.P.S.S. The sign of a complete fool that cannot compose everything under one post.

ATI's Windows Vista Beta 1 Device Driver's did indeed break my ATI Radeon
X300, just FYI, you did not test Windows Vista Beta 1 (or else you would
have seen me Posting in the Technical Beta Newsgroups in the
August/September 2005 Time Frame) so just Plain Shut the **** Up.
