Would something like this be possible by writing it within VB.net?



I would like for a program to open up Lavasoft's Ad-Aware, check for any
updates available on the web by clicking on their update button, then if
there is an update, download and install it, if there isn't, go ahead and do
the next thing such as do a full scan of the hard drive and check for
spyware. - Basically what I'm trying to get at is doing everything on
autopilot/automatically like a script.



And then have it open Spybot and then Microsoft's Anti-Spyware and so fourth
and so on.



Is this even remotely possible through using VB.net? If not, what language
is capable of doing this?

Scan your PC to death........ ;)

It is better to learn about real time protection and
all agents within MSAS. You don´t need to scan so often.

This is totally wrong, SCAN SCAN SCAN.......

So study how real time protection works and then scan perhaps once a
week when new defs arrives.
