Would like to find what power supply would work

I salvaged one of these Motherboards A8M2N-LA (Naos).

There was no power supply with it and I would like to find out what it
takes.

HP and Compaq did not show what power supply came with the Presario
system.

I find one post that said it would take at least a 400 W power supply.

That depends, to some extent, on the power dissipation of the
selected processor, and the power dissipation of the video card
you use.

Processors go up to 140W. Video cards can be well over 200W.

On the other extreme, in theory you can find desktop processors
at 35W. And video cards at 10W (some ATI in non-3D mode).

The motherboard itself, with RAM installed, runs around 50W.
Since the processor and video card choices can be a fair bit
larger, you really need to know what they are, to answer the
question.

Power supplies are also selected based on reputation. For
example, if a "good" company doesn't make anything under
500W, then you might buy a 500W supply, on the premise
it'll last longer. Check the Newegg reviews, to get some
idea there. You can use the advanced search, to list all the
supplies, then sort by "Rating", and find out what the
best reputation is like.

The last two supplies I got, deliver more power than my system
needs, but they had good reputations.
