This was the only program that enabled me to get
rid of the WinAntiSpyware2007 adware virus, but I
wondered if was generally held in high regard.
Thanks for help!

It's one in the list of receommended I put out there.
For the end-user, I think its interface and how much it can clean up make it
one of the better of the AntiSpyware applications out there.

I am sure it cannot clean everything - thus there are others I recommend -
but I have come to a point where I recommend people run the SuperAntiSpyware
first - before going to other software (LavaSoft Ad-Aware, Spybot Search and
Destroy, CWShredder, SpywareBlaster, etc...)

I wouldn't be without it.

Thanks. I think I will order the Pro Version. I'm
currently doing the 30-day freebie.
In conjunction with SAS I also used Rogue
Remover to get rid of the WinAntiSpyware2007
infection. I have also used Avira, AVG and SpySweeper.
I will note your other recommendations which
I assume are not in any particular order.
Thanks again!

A layered approach is required for security, and also for malware
scanning. I have SuperAntisypware installed but do NOT have it
running in the background (i.e., no on-access scanning). I only use
it as an on-demand scanner.

I found that having multiple programs doing real-time scanning
slows things down so I use most "on demand" as you do.
